Thinking of buying a franchise? Well, you are jumping into a sea of endless possibilities. There are thousands of franchises out there and choosing one can often be more confusing than starting with your own business concept. Video   Thanks for tuning in to "This Week in Business!"  This week, we learned the following headline stories: Apple Stock Falls Amidst Drop in iPhone Sales Apple shares fell 7 percent upon the news that that the tech giant had their worst quarter in 13 years due to declining iPhone sales, which dropped 16% from this time last year.  The fickle Chinese market is partially to blame, along with decreased consumer desire to upgrade upon each release due to lack of new features. If you watched the first round of the NFL Draft, the big story was the sliding of Ole Miss offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil out of the top five to number 13. As the draft was unfolding, someone released a video of him smoking marijuana through a gas mask.  You can read the story here.  You can watch this interview right after he was picked. Online apparel retailers face two hurdles that are traditionally considered tough to overcome. For one, almost 20% of UK consumers are reluctant to shop online for products like clothing, shoes or jewellery, because they cannot try the items on. Secondly, apparel has a much higher return rate than products like electronics, books or beauty products, because customers will almost always return items that don’t look or feel how they expected them to. Building customer relationships and developing brand loyalty is paramount to running a successful business. If you don’t create the right type of customer-focused atmosphere, your customers may support your competitors, instead.
